About Us

Editor In Chief / Founder / Head Writer:

Rene Rosa: Entertaining Evil is the brainchild of this former writerand editor for UGO Entertainment. Rene has a love for movies, comic books, video games, toys, gadgets, and writing "About Us" pages.  He has a twisted sense of humor and figured that finding a full time job would not be enough to keep all that crap in his head from falling out.

Now his goal is simple and unified: try to do as much as one can to cover every facet of pop culture and entertainment that interests them and inject it with as much humor as the situation allows. So far he gets a B- in execution, but over time the craft will be refined, especially now that there are other writers here in Evil Land.

Contributing Writers/Editors:

Perri Nemiroff: Up until last year, life was simple for Perri. She dreamed of becoming a reporter, studied Journalism at NYU and even began her career in the industry. It wasn’t until she worked at the movie review show, Reel Talk, that she realized her passion for film was an uncontrollable obsession. Since the end of Reel Talk, Perri satiates her movie addiction by writing for Entertaining Evil, Cinema Blend and on her own personal website, Little Miss Critical.

When it comes to activities that don’t involve sitting in a computer chair or movie theater, Perri enjoys hunting down the tastiest cheese quesadilla in Manhattan, catching up on tabloid gossip and any athletic activity that’ll justify endless hours of sitting and eating.

Getting paid in peanuts is rough, but as long as they’re honey roasted it’s fine by her.

What's In A Name?

The obvious answer to that question would be "words and letters," but that probably isn't what you want to hear. The name, Entertaining Evil, came about way easier than it should have. Rene had started a musical project ages ago named Evil Adamwhich was itself named on his high school nickname. Oh, it gets better than that. He played Adam in a play titled The Diary of Adam and Eve  and later was the evil dentist in Little Shop of Horrors and eventually the name came about. Stupid, corny, and ridiculous? Yes, but is an origin none the less. When it came time to name an entertainment site dedicated to the things that interest one man it only seemed natural to flirt with the idea that each post just might be hinting at a more sinister purpose: bad thoughts.
